MIAH PALMER - Miah started studying music at age 9 and received his first drum set at 12 years old. He gained experience performing in various school bands, learning a wide range of musical styles and genres from an early age.

Miah began his professional music career at 16, opening for notable bands like Type O Negative and Skankin' Pickle with his high school rock group. At 18, he joined the U.S. Army, receiving 4 Army Achievement Medals before being honorably discharged.

After moving to Los Angeles in 2003 to attend the Musicians Institute, Miah has played with numerous groups, from small trios to big bands. In addition to regular performances, he has played for private events, weddings, corporate functions, and even live TV.

Over the past 20 years, Miah has continued to work in the studio, teach, and give clinics at various institutions. He has collaborated with Grammy-nominated and award-winning producers, and has opened for high-profile acts like Steve Vai, Bobby Kimble, and Michael Angelo Batio.

Most recently, Miah has been performing with the DTF Band and The Blues Faithful. Alongside his playing career, he remains passionate about passing on his musical expertise and teaching the next generation of musicians through the Conservatory of Contemporary Music.
